Annual Xiarhos blood drive sets Cape Cod record

YARMOUTH – The 7th Annual Nicholas G. Xiarhos Cape Cod Healthcare Blood Drive brought in 75 pints of blood which is a one day record on Cape Cod.

Yarmouth Police thanked all of the donors and the workers from Cape Cod Health Care who processed over 100 people that netted 75 pints of valuable blood.

The collection was held Sunday at Yarmouth Police headquarters

The people of Yarmouth once again show their willingness to help others in need.
