BARNSTABLE – The arraignment of a juvenile in custody in connection with the stabbing death of a man in a Yarmouth motel was continued from Monday to January 17.
The move was made at the request of the defense attorney and the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s office.
The unidentified juvenile is facing charges in the death of James Dean, 44, who was found stabbed at the Beach ‘n’ Towne Motel on Route 28 last Friday night.
Yarmouth Police have said the victim and suspect were related, but no further information has been released about the stabbing.
It remains under investigation by State and Yarmouth Police.
