EASTHAM – Divers were requested to respond to Eastham after reports of a missing tuber around 1:30 p.m. Monday. Eastham and Orleans marine units and Harbormasters were also assisting searching in the river off Bridge Road at the bridge. About 2:15 p.m. the divers were cancelled as the victim was reportedly located off Widgeon Drive in an area known as Boat Meadow. The victim was brought back to shore and evaluated. Further details were not immediately available.
