YARMOUTH – Shortly before 8 p.m., Yarmouth officials received multiple 911 calls for a garage fire on Wood Road. Crews arrived to find fire and smoke showing from the 1-bay garage on the Geneva Road side of 243 Wood Road. Mutual aid from Dennis Fire was assisting at the scene. Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the adjacent home. No injuries were reported. A vehicle inside the garage appeared to be a total loss but it was not immediately clear if the fire started in the vehicle or the garage itself.
