Car discovered crashed into house in Falmouth

FALMOUTH – On Sunday at approximately 1:09 p.m., the Falmouth Police Department received a call regarding a motor vehicle crash where the vehicle had reportedly stuck a house at the corner of Jones Road and Peterson Road.

Upon arrival officers found a vehicle against the front of the residence at the northwest side of the structure. Both the residence and vehicle sustained moderate damage. At the time of the investigation the operator of the vehicle was not on scene and the residence was unoccupied. No injuries were reported.

The preliminary investigations revealed that the crash occurred sometime during the overnight hours but went unnoticed until the call was made to the department. This crash remains under investigation.
