Chatham intersection shut down following late-morning crash

CHATHAM – The intersection of Sam Ryder Rd. and Schoolhouse Rd. in Chatham was shut down late Saturday morning following a one-car crash.

A Ford Focus station wagon collided with a utility pole.

Chatham Police said there were no injuries, but the intersection would be closed until secondary power lines can be removed.

Crews from Eversource were responding to the scene.
