Coast Guard removes hazard to navigation in Rock Harbor

ORLEANS
– Crews from Aids to Navigation Teams Woods Hole and Bristol, along with divers from Regional Dive Locker East based out of Portsmouth, VA, removed an 8,500 pound concrete sinker that had become a hazard to navigation outside of Rock Harbor on Cape Cod.

Due to the shallow water depth Coast Guard divers were used to flip the upside down sinker and re-float it for removal.
