Dennis and Yarmouth Police execute search warrant and arrest two heroin dealers

YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Thursday, a search warrant authored by Detective Thomas Downs of the Dennis Police Department was obtained from Second District Court of Orleans authorizing the search of 601 Willow Street Apt A, South Yarmouth, Massachusetts.

The search warrant authorized Police Officers to search for Heroin, a Class A controlled substance and evidence related to the distribution of Heroin.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., Yarmouth Police and Dennis Police Detectives, Proactive Anti-Crime Unit Officers, and Patrol Officers executed the search warrant at their residence in South Yarmouth and seized the following:

  • Packaged Heroin 16.5 grams
  • Sandwich Baggies
  • Three Digital Scale Scales
  • Cash totaling $81.00
  • Empty/loose corner cut bags
  • Box of baking soda (drug cut)

Yarmouth Police applaud the strong teamwork of the Dennis and Yarmouth Police Departments and remind everyone that they will continue to proactively seek and arrest heroin dealers and users throughout the year—even at Christmas.
