Driver in Brewster fatality cited for motor vehicle homicide

BREWSTER – The Brewster Police Department reports that it is citing Richard W. Brown, Jr., the operator of the vehicle that struck and killed Lorraine Hurley on October 2, for speeding and motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation. According to Brewster Police Chief Richard J. Koch, Jr., Mr. Brown has the right to request a hearing in front of the Clerk Magistrate. The crash investigation is still active.
