Five arrested during Falmouth drug raid

FALMOUTH –  On Thursday, at approximately 5:30  a.m., a Search Warrant was conducted at 132 Homestead Lane in East Falmouth. Falmouth Police Detectives were supported by Mashpee Police Detectives, Barnstable County K-9 Officers, and members of the Cape & Islands Drug Task Force. The Falmouth Police Department has received numerous complaints about drug activity from residents of the neighborhood, and previous search warrants have been conducted at this location (most recently in August of 2014). This search warrant was the result of multiple controlled narcotics purchases from the home.

Eight people were found within the home, including 1 small child. Heroin, Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine, $716 in cash, and drug distribution paraphernalia were seized from the home. Arrested at the scene were the following individuals:

-Gerald Cardoza, 33, was arrested for possession of a Class A substance (Heroin) with intent to distribute, possession of a Class B (Fentanyl) substance with intent to distribute.

-Warren Antone, 29, was arrested for knowingly being present where heroin is kept.

-Rocco Gomes, 26, was arrested for knowingly being present where heroin is kept.

-Kyle Geggatt, 23, was arrested for knowingly being present where heroin is kept.

-Sean Desouza, 20, was arrested for possession of a Class B (Crack Cocaine) substance with intent to distribute and knowingly being present where heroin is kept.

The Department of Children and Families is being notified and additional charges may be filed.
