BOURNE – A four-vehicle crash slowed the weekend exodus off Cape Cod. The crash happened about 7:20 p.m. on Route 6 westbound between exit 2 and the Sagamore Bridge. One person was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Six others were treated and released at the scene. The crash is under investigation by State Police
WEST BARNSTABLE – Earlier in the afternoon, West Barnstable FD responded to a single-car crash on Route 6. Two occupants of the car were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. A Fallon Ambulance spotted the crash and was first on-scene.

I suspect that a large number of these daytime crashes are a result of distracted driving. Cell phones are dangerous and texting is potentially lethal. The one car crashes seem to be text book cases of distracted driving
