Update: Driver cited after rollover crash that injured four in Yarmouth

YARMOUTH – On Wednesday, April 19, 2017 shortly before 4 PM, members of the Yarmouth Police and Fire Departments arrived at the scene of a two vehicle crash at the 4 way intersection of North Main Street and Regional Avenue in South Yarmouth.

The roadway was shut down and traffic diverted for a brief period of time as people were rescued and the crash was investigated by Patrol Officer Mark Noone.

The 34-year-old operator of a Nissan Pathfinder from Adams, Massachusetts was cited as she failed to stop and the 4-way stop sign intersection and struck another vehicle before overturning. Fortunately, none of the children in her vehicle were seriously injured as they were all seat belted properly. Two people a Toyota Rav4 were not injured.
