Harwich Fire responds to smoke condition at The Royal Assisted Living facility

HARWICH – A smoke condition in the elevator control room brought the Harwich Fire department to The Royal Assisted Living facility on Bank Street.  

The incident  Monday at 3:30pm was quickly brought under control and no personnel needed to be evacuated.    

The fire department used a large exhaust fan to dissipate  the smoke.   No injuries were reported.
