Harwich Police caution residents about recent mail solicitation

HARWICH – Harwich Police are issuing a caution about a mail solicitation that has been popping up around town.

Some residents have been receiving unsolicited mailings from a company that is attempting to get people to pay a large fee to obtain a copy of the deed to their property.

Police said that while this business may be legitimate, those documents can be obtained from Harwich Town Hall at a minimal cost.
