YARMOUTH – On Tuesday, a Yarmouth DNR Law Enforcement Officer was dispatched to a conservation area for the report of an illegal dumping. The officer conducted an investigation and developed a suspect. The suspect was located with the assistance of Barnstable DNR at which point statements were made admitting to the illegal dumping. Citations were issued and the area will be cleared by the involved party.
Massachusetts General Law Chapter 270 Section 16 is the applicable law for this violation.
