FALMOUTH – Falmouth Fire Rescue was called to an area off Old Silver Beach early Saturday afternoon after a kitesurfer was reported in distress. The victim was spotted clinging to his board but reported no distress when rescuers arrived and swam to shore on his own. This was the second day in a row Falmouth rescuers were called out for a water rescue for a kitesurfer.
