YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11:00 PM, they placed a man under arrest for a domestic violence attack that had occurred earlier in Yarmouth which allegedly involved beating a woman with a leather belt.
The man was arraigned in the Barnstable District Court yesterday for Felony Assault and Battery while Armed with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery and placed in prison.
On Friday, he paid the $300 cash bail fee and is out pending the trial.
Because of the Massachusetts Domestic Violence law, the police are unable to provide the name of the suspect.
