SANDWICH – A man reportedly nearly drowned in Sandwich Sunday sometime after 12:30 p.m. The victim was out of the water when officials arrived at Town Neck Beach. He was taken to the Henry T. Wing School and flown by helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Further details were not immediately available.
