WEST BARNSTABLE – A man was airlifted with what was described as a crushing hand injury Friday afternoon. The victim arrived at West Barnstable Fire on Meetinghouse Road (Route 149) about 2:30 PM Friday afternoon. He was taken to the Cape Cod Airfield on Race Lane in Marstons Mills to meet the helicopter. The injury reportedly occurred during some tree work.
