FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police report that on Tuesday afternoon they responded to the West Falmouth Post Office for a report of an unconscious person in a vehicle. The officer determined that the male operator was impaired and in possession of heroin. As a result, the operator, identified in the FPD daily log as John F. Hayes, 31, of East Sadnwich was placed under arrest for operating under the influence of drugs and possession of a class A substance (heroin).
