Man on Yarmouth Police Department’s ‘Wanted Wednesday’ list captured in Barnstable

YARMOUTH – Yarmouth and Barnstable Police teamed up this week to capture the man listed on the Yarmouth Police Department’s Wanted Wednesday posting.

Christopher Dunham, 33, was picked up Wednesday on numerous outstanding warrants at 10:30 a.m.

Dunham is well known to local area police departments and was featured in January in the Yarmouth Police Department’s Weekly Wanted Wednesday program.

Yarmouth Proactive Anti-Crime Unit Officers Connor Burnham, Sean Geary, and Christopher VanNess observed and identified Dunham working on a construction site for a new home in Barnstable.

The Barnstable Police Street Crimes Unit was notified and responded to assist in serving the arrest warrants.

Dunham was placed in custody and transported back to the Yarmouth Police Department where he was booked and subsequently transported to the Barnstable District Court.

He had outstanding charges of felony possession to distribute Class A heroin, conspiracy to violate the Massachusetts drug laws, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, felony larceny over $250.00 and felony receiving stolen property over $250.00.
