DENNIS – Dennis and Yarmouth rescuers were called to the area of Chapin Beach sometime after 9 PM Sunday evening. According to reports, a man became stranded on a sandbar as the tide came in. A Yarmouth Fire rescue boat pulled the man out of the chest deep water and brought him to shore where EMTs evaluated him. Further details were not immediately available.
