Medford man thanks rescuers

YARMOUTH – The Medford man that was  rescued from an overturned boat several miles off Yarmouth last week met with first responders at Yarmouth Police headquarters on Wednesday morning.

Arthur Moscufo was out testing a boat in the Bass River when it overturned and drifted into Nantucket Sound and was later rescued by a “multi agency” effort thanked his rescuers along with members of his family.

Moscufo, his girlfriend, sister, and mother were also present  along with the various agencies involved in the rescue.

It was his girlfriend who reported him missing late on Monday, prompting the extensive search that eventually led to his discovery.
