NANTUCKET – Nantucket Police are investigating the suspected drug overdose death of an island man.
A statement from the department said officers responded to a home on Hooper Farm Road Thursday, just after 8 a.m., for reports of a medical emergency.
On arrival, they found a 46-year-old man who had died from the suspected overdose.
No foul play is expected and the state medical examiner’s office continues to investigate.
The name of the person has not been released.
