Narcotics arrest in Falmouth

FALMOUTH – The Falmouth Police Department reports that on Friday at approximately 7:54 a.m. officers responded to 16 Woodview Drive in regard to a call for police service. Upon arrival, officers were let into the residence by a female resident who advised them that there were two males in the house that had outstanding warrants (information was confirmed through dispatch).

The first male was located and taken into custody on the stairway leading to the second floor of the residence. The second subject was located in an upstairs bedroom. As officers attempted to take him into custody they observed him attempting to hide or conceal something under the linens of the bed. As the subject was taken into custody the officers observed, in plain view, a large baggie containing a brownish white powdery substance under the quilt on the bed.

Officers secured the scene while they applied for a search warrant for the residence. Once the search warrant was issued the residence was searched. Officers discovered 27.2 grams of heroin, several digital scales, baggies and cutting agents.

Brandon and Gary Peterson were arrested on outstanding warrants and face additional charges that include Trafficking Heroin, Possession of a Class-A Substance, Drug Violation near School/Park and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws.

This incident remains under investigation.
