Oak Bluffs Police providing new pamphlet for Brazilian community

OAK BLUFFS – Oak Bluffs Police are taking steps to better improve the relationship between their department the island town’s Brazilian community.

They’ve created a  Brazilian community Outreach Pamphlet. It addresses issues ranging from local driving regulations to information about defining domestic abuse.

The publication is written in both English and Portuguese and is available in the Oak Bluffs Police Station lobby.

Census figures have shown that the country from which most foreign born residents are from on Martha’s Vineyard is Brazil.
