News briefs: Pedestrian struck in Chatham; car vs tree in Sandwich

CHATHAM – A pedestrian was struck by a car in Chatham. It happened on Morris Island Road at the “ess” curve about 5:45 p.m. The victim was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not believed to life-threatening. The crash is under investigation by Chatham Police.

SANDWICH – Two people were injured in a car cs tree crash in Sandwich. The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. on Route 6A at the entrance to Scorton Creek. Two people were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
