Video: Missing elderly couple found safe in Bourne

Update: Mass State Police Air Wing has located the missing Plymouth couple in their car in wooded area of Bourne, directed ground units and EMS to location. The couple are reported to be conscious and alert. MSP Air 2 located them. Investigation by local PD ongoing as to how/why they ended up there. Previous story: The Plymouth Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing elderly couple identified as John and Jean Bickerstaff of Plymouth,

Jean Bickerstaff is 87 years of age, described as a white female with whit hair, about 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. John Bickerstaff as 90 years of age described as a white mail with a full head of grey hair. He is 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. John has hearing aids, wears glasses and has early signs of dementia. The couple was last seen at their Mountain Hill Road home in the Cedarville section of Plymouth around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. 

They are believed to be operating their 2007 Toyota Camry with MA plates 3666AF.

Family reports that the couple generally does not leave the Cedarville area except to occasionally go to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Plymouth for doctor appointments, The Indepencence Mall in Kingston (Kingston Collection) or the Kohl’s store for shopping. Family also advises Jean does not drive at night because she gets lost easily in the dark.
