Reward offered for information in Yarmouth laundry room assault

YARMOUTH – A $1,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect involved in a laundry room assault this week.

The owners of the Swan Pond Village on Alewife Circle announced the reward in partnership with Yarmouth Police.

The suspect is described as a tall and thin white male, between the ages of 20 to 30 years old.

 

Police responded to the scene on Tuesday at 12:16 p.m.

The man was located in the laundry room and transported by Yarmouth Fire Department ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital where he was treated and released.

A Yarmouth Police K9 Unit, Yarmouth Police Detectives, and members of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit were called to the scene.
