Sandwich Police investigating after car crashes into liquor store


SANDWICH
– Sandwich Police report that on Sunday at approximately 1:03 PM, they responded to a motor vehicle crash into a building at 101 Route 6A, The Cellar 55 Wine Merchants.

Upon arrival, officers observed a green 2006 Toyota Camry jumped the curb and crashed into the front window of the business. There was merchandise that was knocked over inside of the business. There was one customer and two employees inside at the time of the crash. There were no injuries.

The driver of the Toyota was identified as 52-year-old William Flynn III of North Easton, MA. Flynn stated his foot got stuck between the gas and brake pedal.

The accident is being investigated by Officer David Dwyer There are no charges at this time, but the crash remains under investigation.
