Strong storms cause scattered power outages, flooding

CAPE COD – A line of strong thunderstorms associated with the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy made their presence felt across the Cape Saturday morning. As of 11:30 a.m. Eversource’s Outage Map was showing 675 customers without power. 635 of those are in Dennis. The National Weather Service reports a portion of the Cranberry Highway (Routes 6/28) in Wareham was closed due to flooding.
