MASHPEE – Officials responded to a serious crash in Mashpee just after 7:30 PM Tuesday evening. The crash happened on Falmouth Road (Route 28) by the Stop Shop gas station. One person was trapped and had to be freed using the Jaws of Life. Three people were evaluated for injuries that were not life-threatening. Because of multiple calls, a mutual aid engine from Joint Base Cape Cod responded with the Jaws and two mutual aid ambulances also responded for patient care. The crash is under investigation by Mashpee Police.
