SOUTH DENNIS – A man traveling alone escaped injury after his Toyota Rav4 slammed into a support utility pole and rolled on its side at 161 Main Street. The vehicle was traveling south when the crash occurred by Heirs Landing.
According to reports at the scene, the man said he was forced over and into the pole by a northbound vehicle traveling over the center line. Dennis Fire reported the driver was able to crawl out a side window.
Dennis fire and police personnel responded to the scene and the road is closed to travel in both directions at this time.
Dennis Police are investigating.
