YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Monday at 7:03 PM Proactive Anti-Crime Unit (PACU) Officer Nicholas Ambrosini and his partner K-9 Gauge observed a male and female standing and acting suspicious outside of the passenger side of an older model brown mini-van in the Bass River motel parking lot on Route 28.   The van was not parked in a parking space and it was believed everyone present may have been involved in illegal drug distribution.

Warrant:  Fall River District Court for shoplifting, Warrant:  Fall River District Court for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, Warrant:  Barnstable District Court for failure to return leased property, and Warrant:  Falmouth District Court for operating after license suspended.

Lonnie A. Lewis, 35, of Fall River, MA (right) was charged with:
Warrant: Barnstable District Court for suspended driver’s license, Warrant: Falmouth District Court for possession of a Class E substance, credit card fraud (4 counts) and receiving stolen property
