HARWICH –
At 3:00 p.m. Harwich Police and Fire-Rescue were dispatched to Lower County Road and Belmont Road for a 2 car motor vehicle crash with air bag deployment and possible injury.
Upon arrival rescuers found 1 vehicle in the middle of the intersection with moderate front end damage and an SUV with minor damage on the side of Belmont Road. Medics evaluated both drivers who refused further treatment and transportation. Firefighters handled a minor spill and ensured both vehicles were safe.
Traffic on Lower County Road was reduced to one alternating lane until the vehicle could be towed and the intersection cleared.
