Rescuers able to save one of three dolphins that stranded in Provincetown Harbor

PROVINCETOWN
– Three common dolphins were reported stranded in the far east end flats of Provincetown Harbor Thursday morning. The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) responded and determined two of the dolphins were deceased.

The remaining one was examined by a veterinarian and assisted by our staff and IFAW volunteers before being released back into the water.

Dolphin standings on Cape Cod are not unusual but the location of this one in Provincetown Harbor is.
