Two-vehicle crash in Harwich injures one

HARWICH – At approximately 12:30 PM, Harwich Fire-Rescue responded to a reported two-vehiclee accident with unknown injuries in the area of 166 Queen Anne Rd. First arriving Car 61 (Chief Norman Clarke) reported a rear end collision involving a BMW SUV and a Honda SUV with 1 non-life threatening injury. Because of multiple calls in progress in Harwich a mutual aid ambulance from Dennis Fire was requested to transport one of the drivers to Cape Cod Hospital. Traffic around the accident scene was reduced to one alternating lane by Harwich Police, who are in charge of the investigation. All Fire-Rescue units cleared the scene in under 30 minutes, while the Police awaited a wrecker for one of the vehicles.
