Woman injured in Barnstable scooter vs pole crash

scooterBARNSTABLE – At about 1: 30 p.m. Monday a woman lost control of the scooter she was riding and struck a utility pole on Attucks Lane near Phinneys Lane in Barnstable Village. Medics requested MedFlight but the helicopter rescue service was unable to respond due to weather conditions. Cape Cod Hospital was given a trauma alert for a serious leg and hip injuries. Barnstable police are investigating.

    There has to be more to this accident. You don’t just hit a pole.

    • If you don’t know what happened, then don’t say anything- this accident is about my daughter who got swerved off the road and is in ICU in boston in serious injuries, she isn’t responsive- next time u write a comment please get the facts first

      • Easy mom they have a point there might have been something wrong with the bike or God for bid a car might have been to close or pulled out she avoided them don’t know she be ok she’s tough !!
