Yarmouth Police arrest person for domestic violence after crash into house

YARMOUTH – On Wednesday at 5:42 PM, the Yarmouth Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a building on Route 6A in Yarmouthport. Investigation revealed that crash was intentional and part of a Domestic Violence attack.

The person responsible was placed under arrest and held at Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters overnight on $3,000 cash bail.

The suspect was transported to the Barnstable District Court this morning for arraignment for Felony Assault while Armed with a Dangerous Weapon (motor vehicle).

Due to restrictions in the Massachusetts Domestic Violence Law, the police are unable to identify the person arrested.
