YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police are investigating a reported attack on a man in the laundry room at the Swan Pond Village on Alewife Circle who was allegedly assaulted and robbed.
Police responded to the scene on Tuesday at 12:16 p.m.
The man was located at the scene and transported by Yarmouth Fire Department ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital where he was treated and has been released.
A Yarmouth Police K9 Unit, Yarmouth Police Detectives, and members of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit were called to the scene.
The male suspect fled the scene and is unknown.
