YARMOUTH – This past week the Yarmouth Police Department with assistance from the Yarmouth Department of Natural Resources cleared out several trespassers from town property and cleaned the wooded area located behind 228 Route 28 in West Yarmouth.
The trespassers had been living in the area and created environmental hazards and damage which included human waste, garbage, discarded heroin needles, and a variety of dirty and unsafe items.
All trespassers were identified and removed and will be arrested if they return.
A team of trained professionals was brought in and have been able to properly clean the area and return it to its natural state.
