YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Rotary and the Yarmouth Police Department are teaming up to get unwanted prescription medications off the streets.
Members of Yarmouth Rotary unveiled a new sponsorship sign at the Yarmouth Police Department Thursday.
Yarmouth Rotary members John Cooke, Public Image Director, Janice Matheson and Kevin Lennon, Vice President (also YPD) met with Chief Frederickson this morning and presented the new sign.
Citizens are encouraged to drop off unwanted medications at the Police Department where they will be secured and properly disposed of.
The drug collection box is available 24/7 and is located in the main lobby area.
