Beech Tree Cantina – Hyannis
The Beech Tree Cantina restaurant and bar is one of the newest hotspots where you can enjoy a drink on Main Street. Featuring Mexican food and an impressive selection of margaritas, beers cocktails and wine, the atmosphere is casual and lively. Outside you can sit under the historic English Weeping Beech tree that is believed to be planted as far back as 1776. Bar seating around the tree and an outdoor fireplace create a unique, inviting ambiance.
The Chart Room – Cataumet
Located in Cataumet, The Chart Room is a staple in the community. While overlooking scenic RedBrookHarbor, you can enjoy the casual atmosphere and a cocktail or glass of fine wine. The Chart Room offers an impressive variety of wines like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir, as well as Champagne and Blush wines. On a sunny evening sitting on the outdoor porch or lawn, you’ll be treated to a magnificent sunset. Sam Diego’s – Hyannis, Sandwich
A popular, Cape hot spot, Sam Diego’s features Mexican food, a lively atmosphere and fabulous drink selections that make it a favorite place for socializing. Sam’s boasts an impressive margarita list, including the Miguel Watermelon, Lime-in-the-Coconut, and Sam’s Gold Margarita, to name a few. They also offer an assortment of specialty beverages like the Frozen Mudslide and Texas Iced Tea, as well as many tequila and beer selections. Sam’s is a great spot to go for an after-work drink or meet with friends.
The Beachcomber – Wellfleet
If you’re looking for an evening on the waterfront, you’ll love The Beachcomber in Wellfleet with its panoramic view overlooking the dunes of Cahoon Hollow Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, One of the Outer Cape’s most popular places for drinks and fun, in addition to their regular selections, The Beachcomber features local brews, like Wachusett Blueberry Ale and Cisco Whale’s Tale Ale, specialty drinks with a local twist, like the Comber Libre, Mooncusser, and Cape Cod Bloody Mary, and classic wines, like Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot.
Baxter’s – Hyannis
Baxter’s is one of the Cape’s oldest restaurants and built entirely over the water of Barnstable Harbor, offering views of ferry boats to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard and local commercial fishing boats unloading their catch. Here you can dock your boat, hop on the deck and enjoy one of Baxter’s libations, including a mojito, dark and stormy or frozen daiquiris and pina coladas. Known for its famous fish and chips, other seafood fare and social setting, Baxter’s has become a Cape Cod tradition for CapeCodders and visitors.
Trader Ed’s – Hyannis
Like its neighbor, Baxter’s, Trader Ed’s offers a wonderful view of HyannisHarbor. In addition to their varied selection of beers, cocktails, wines and delicious frozen drinks, Trader Ed’s features boat drinks like the throwback Hurricane Bob, the Figawi Survivor and the nautical ‘Fraid Knot. If you’re feeling adventurous, be sure to try Trader Ed’s signature Beezer Pleaser, made by the man himself, Mr.Breezer. At night you can socialize and dance to live Cape and Boston bands.
British Beer Company – Hyannis, Sandwich, Falmouth, Plymouth
With the feel of a traditional pub, the British Beer Company is a popular dining, drinking and meeting place for CapeCodders and visitors. The Falmouth location overlooks the beach with views of Vineyard Sound, the Hyannis location sits at the heart of lively Main Street, the Sandwich location is on the scenic north side 6A and the Plymouth location is on Middle Street, just off Main Street in Plymouth. Harvest Gallery Wine Bar – Dennis
The Harvest Gallery Wine Bar combines the love for fine art, wine, food and entertainment. With its unique artistic and cultural atmosphere, Harvest features Cape Cod contemporary art while offering .a gourmet bar style menu and fine wines. Located in the center of DennisVillage along scenic Route 6A, next to the Cape CodCenter for the Arts, the diverse gallery features the works of more than 30 artists, including paintings, collages, sculpture, photography, glass and jewelry. The full-service Wine Bar highlights wines from around the world, beer and a full menu of seasonal specials and desserts. The live music scene at Harvest is known for its casual intimacy and mature, original performances.
The Courtyard – Bourne
Owned and run by former Boston Bruin Jay Miller and his wife Paula, the Courtyard on Route 28 on the Bourne/Falmouth line serves lunch and dinner year round, featuring fresh local seafood and classic New England fare. A beautiful fire pit is the centerpiece in the outside courtyard, and their flat screen TV’s and newly renovated inside bar are perfect for watching sports. Inside or outside, you’ll enjoy their friendly, casual atmosphere with family and friends. Later in the evening, you can enjoy a cocktail and engage with your friends as you take in The Courtyard’s live entertainment.
