The Last Gasp

On Sunday September 14th, 2014, Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers will be holding its annual The Last Gasp event.LastGasp

The Last Gasp is a three part, day long, fund-raising extravaganza designed to help raise money for several diverse nonprofit organizations headquartered on Cape Cod and the Islands.

The first part of the day consists of a 62 mile bike ride starting Sunday morning on the 14th at the Sandwich Marina and ending in Provincetown. Once in Provincetown, part two of the fundraising extravaganza begins. The riders will ditch their bikes – don’t worry, they are safely transported on UPS trucks – and hop on the Dolphin Fleet boats for a cruise of Cape Cod Bay back to Sandwich. The final part of the daylong event is a classic Cape Cod clam bake and awards ceremony at the American Legion Hall on Route 130 in Sandwich.Clams

Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers is one of the few organizations to assure every sponsor, participant, and donor a guarantee that 100% of the money raised through their events will be directed to the participating organization of their choice, or shared among all participating organizations.

In 2013, The Last Gasp raised nearly half a million dollars for several nonprofit organizations here on Cape Cod and the Islands, such as Cape and Islands United Way, Cape Cod Young Professionals, Champ House, Hope Hospice of Cape Cod, and several others.

The Last Gasp is an action-packed day of fundraising for several great organizations that look to give back to the Cape and Islands. Register to ride or sign up for the clam bake today.
