You know it, it’s promposal season for high school students all over the cape! Do you know what school does it the best? You guessed it, Barnstable High School. You may be asking, what is a promposal? A promposal is almost as important as asking a girl to marry you, but you’re just asking her to prom. You don’t spend a bunch of money on a marriage proposal, but instead you spend a bunch of money on posters, balloons, and flowers.
Asking a girl to prom is probably the most stressful question you will ask in high school. You get all the girls friends together and you’re friends and try to figure out the best way to ask her to prom. Promposals range from billboards at Fenway Park during a Red Sox game, to taping posters up in the hallway with balloons, to simply randomly walking into a girl’s class with flowers asking her.
Most girls look forward to a big promposal during their senior year of high school. It is more important than you would ever think, needless to say we take it very seriously. We try to think of everything possible.
The time comes, so many thoughts are running through your head. Will she say yes? Will she say no? What do I do if she says no? People are all gathered around waiting for you to “pop the big question”. What did she say? I guess you’ll have to find out for yourself and ask her. I bet she will say yes!
