The Pops By The Sea concert attracts upwards of 15,000 people.
1. Pops by The Sea – The Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea concert will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015, on the Hyannis Village Green. The annual concert features the only Cape Cod appearance of the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and this year will feature celebrity guest conductors Charlie Gibson, Connie Chung and Maury Povich. 2. Championship Boxing at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center – Hyannis native Jesse Barboza (9-1-1, 5 KO’s) is coming home to headline a pro boxing event August 8th at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center (HYCC) as he takes on Pennsylvania’s Jesse Oltmanns (10-5, 7 KO’s) in an 8 round fight for the vacant Northeast Heavyweight Championship. 4. Annual Antique Outdoor Market – sponsored by the Eastham Historical Society, Saturday at 9am at the 1869 Schoolhouse Museum. Admission fees help to support the Eastham Historical Society. For more information, please visit the Eastham Historical Society’s page.
5. Lobster Roll Cruise – Set sail for an afternoon lobster roll cruise Saturday to benefit Independence House. Cruise from Sesuit Harbor in Dennis beginning at 2pm. Enjoy spectacular views with great food! Details at the Independence House page.
