The weather last weekend was so nice I noticed everyone cruising around doing yard work and other various spring time things to make pretend the winter we just had never existed.
I was so excited to buy my two 40-inch wooden planter boxes and plant three dwarf Alberta spruce trees in each one. I actually was excited to get may hands dirty (all right, I did have the appropriate gloves on but still…) just the thought of not shoveling snow…not digging myself out…and not looking at ice dams…I was beside myself!
In addition to planting, I cleaned off my deck furniture and got new pillows and chair pads. It’s amazing how the littlest things give me a thrill. Today I am looking forward to cleaning the grill and quite frankly I don’t care if I DO get my hands dirty!
I have never been so excited for spring and summer! I can’t wait to hang out on all my favorite Cape beaches like…Bass River, Old Silver and Coast Guard!
Summer can’t get here fast enough!
