Signs of Spring… See you next week!

Hello everyone,

As I write this blog for your reading and analysis, it’s another winter storm blowing 50mpg winds and the lights are flickering. (Before I go further, thanks to Eversource, the plow guys and gals for the hard work)

In many cities and towns in Florida, especially Fort Myers, and Port St. Lucie, the Red Sox and my New York Mets are reporting for spring training. And this gives me hope.

I love when spring training begins watching the people in Florida with this suntans watching the players who were getting suntanned on fresh green grass getting ready for the baseball season. We’re still basking in the glow of the Patriots victory, but the quarter has been turned when the players report for spring training.

The Red Sox have a lot of optimism this year, and that makes my son very happy as he is a diehard Red Sox fan.

I am looking forward to a good season from the New York Mets, however, being a fan of that team is tough work. It is very well-documented my absolute disdain for cold weather and winter and my longing for living in a warm climate.

Until that day, days like now get me excited as baseball season will be upon us soon. So here’s to the Red Sox, and the Mets, let’s play ball!
