Winter Art Exhibit to Display Local Works

HYANNIS – The works of local artists will be on display in January and February with the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod’s Annual Member Winter Art Exhibit.

The theme of this year’s exhibit is “Personal Space.”

The pieces on display are from established and emerging Cape Cod artists and will reflect their interpretations of the theme.

The exhibit will run from January 9 through February 11 at the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod on Main Street in Hyannis.

Winter Art is not just for adults as the exhibit’s layout was designed with children in mind.

The works will be displayed at a height of 4 feet, which is right at the eye level of many children.

Some of the local artists will also discuss their pieces with students as they tour the exhibit.

Students visiting “Personal Space” will also enjoy a hands-on workshop in Art Barn and create their own work inspired by the exhibition.

To plan a guided visit to the exhibit contact Kevin Shanley by phone at 508-362-0066 or by email at [email protected].
