On Saturday, June 3rd, Harbor View Hotel and the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard will join forces for the 7th annual Celebration of Pets. A free event for you and your pet! Pet owners and animal lovers are encouraged to bring their furry, winged and scaly friends to congregate on Harbor View’s picturesque porch at 10:30 a.m., where they will be led by the Black Dog mascot in a parade around Edgartown Lighthouse. Upon returning to the porch, pets can enjoy treats, water and a “Blessing of the Animals,” which will be performed at 11 a.m. All pet owners who attend can commemorate the day with a special ribbon that will be provided after the activities.
